Sea Kayaking

Introduction to Sea Kayaking learn the basics and experience the pleasures of Sea Kayaking in and around the beautiful waters of Scotland’s west coast. Our qualified Drum Adventure Instructor will provide you with a one day taster session which would normally take place in the central Firth of Clyde, however, we can travel further afield to meet the needs of the group. The local area provides us with very sheltered waters and an impressive backdrop of mountain ranges.

CanoeingThe Clyde extends south to various remote islands and spectacular open views.  Here, you will have the chance to practice the unique art of sea kayaking and enjoy close encounters with the local wildlife.  The Common Seal, Grey Seal, Porpoises and various sea birds including Gannets are often spotted in and around the Firth of Clyde.

The day would begin with an introduction to some of the basic kayaking strokes before we venture further a field to put our new-found skills to the test.  The day would be designed to meet the needs of the group with all necessary equipment provided - all you need to bring is your sea-legs and a sense of adventure!
